Facilities & Directions

Folk Field - 1324 McCormick Rd., West Lafayette IN 47906
Renamed Folk Field in 2016, the Boilermakers were presented with a newly renovated Boilermaker Soccer Complex in the summer of 2012, highlighted by a new building on the west side of the field that houses new locker rooms, team rooms, an athletic training room, sizable press box and roof access for better filming of games.

The centrally-located team building and press box houses home and away locker and team meeting rooms as well as concessions and public restrooms. The second-level press area has room for media, radio and television announcers, as well as game-day staff. New black sideboards with gold logos and lettering as well as new dugouts for the players and coaches were installed in the summer of 2016 at the award-winning complex.

Folk Field is believed to be the northern-most field in the country to feature Bermuda grass. It has been honored with multiple consecutive Fields of Excellence awards by Pioneer Athletics (2013-19) and hosted a Chicago Fire-Indy Eleven friendly in the spring of 2014. Folk Field's Bermuda grass surface and the adjacent blue grass practice field make Purdue Soccer's facilities second to none.

Mollenkopf Athletic Center - 1225 Northwestern Ave., West Lafayette IN 47906
The Mollenkopf Athletic Center, built in 1990 at a cost of $10.3 million, has a full indoor practice football field plus spacious sidelines - totaling 92,400 square feet - and reaches 86 feet high at the peak. The completion of the Mollenkopf Center was made possible by Howard R. "Monk" Kissell, Class of 1931, who provided the majority of the $1 million cost. Mollenkopf is home to the Purdue Soccer program in the winter months, providing an indoor training space in January, February and early March. As of 2019, Mollenkopf was updated to include a fueling station, coaching offices, and weight room for the soccer program.

The original AstroTurf was replaced with FieldTurf in 2017.
